The kids and I went on a day trip, with the neighbors, to Spanish Fork. Our adventure was inspired by a little story in Utah Valley Magazine. There is an antique store named Confetti Antiques and Books. They had a bathtub full of antique buttons. The kids enjoyed seeing all the old toys and digging through the buttons. I walked away with four dollars in buttons and the kids had some yummy suckers. Thankfully we didn't break anything.
After the antique store we headed down the street for Stone Drug. It's a drug store with a snack bar. Davis got a 47 cent ice cream cone. Tess chose a 25 candy. The candy isle reminded me of Enchanted Lake Pharmacy. I don't think it's there any more. I used to walk there with my friends and get penny and nickle candy. Why don't more store still offer that?

After the ribbon cutting we toured the store. They offered us lemonade, cracker jacks, and cupcakes with little rockets on the top. Davis and Jaxson jumped at the cupcakes. The day continued with more fun. We lunched at Magleby's Fresh, ran through Cherry Tree Cottage fabric store and then on to the park.
While the kids were outside eating their cones we saw a cute store across the street. When we opened there door it was packed with people. We showed up just in time for the ribbon cutting. Bailee was asked to hold the ribbon ans the boys had a front row seat. Rocket Rebellion is a new store on Main Street, Spanish Fork. They sell 50's looking dress, fun shoes, jewelry, candy and other oddities.
