Picnic Ware

Davis has five weeks left of school.  Summer is almost here and I can't wait to sleep in.  It's funny that waking up at 8:00 AM feels like sleeping in.
A few months ago I started thinking about picnics.  I was looking around at all the fun lunch and bento boxes online.  Most of the ones I liked were kind of pricey.  I have been scouring the store shelves for something  similar, but less expensive.  Here are three finds I think are picnic worthy...

This SNAPWARE container is from the craft store.  It has three interlocking compartments and is dishwasher safe.  Tess loves the little carrying handle.  Cost $4.99 (If you use a coupon it can be even cheaper)

I picked this up today at the Dollar Store.  There were four different animals to choose from.  I thought this would be fun for Davis, but now all the kids want one.  Its similar looking to this one, but a fraction of the cost.  The big animal face was in one package, and the two little containers came in another package with the spoon.  Cost $2.00

This container is from the beading section of the craft store.  I think its fun to have all the little compartments for little fingers.  Can't you see the gold fish, some grapes and a couple of tiny sandwiches in the compartments?  Cost $2.50

Have you already started picnicing?  My friend and I are working on something fun for this summer.
More on that later....
