ICING ON THE CAKE

Tess requested pink cake for her birthday.  We mixed things up and made cupcakes and ice cream cone cupcakes.  I had some spillage, but it still looked cute.  All the girls wanted the ice cream cone cakes.

After cake, we topped the party off with the candy bar.

The girls used their tickets earned from the games to buy scoops of candy.  Each ticket = One scoop.  We didn't really count, but it was fun anyway.

Colorful gum balls scream sweet shoppe to me.  I love all the colors together.

The girls got to scoop up hair clips and candy flavored lip balms.
I found the cutest cupcake hair clips at the Dollar Store.  They only had one package, so I bought some heart clips too.

The candy table was a hit.  I used one of our kid tables so all the candy would be easy for the girls, and Davis, to see.

The treat bags needed a little zip.  We put together a logo and made stickers for the clear bags.
This party was a total hit for Tess and her friends.  I hope you enjoyed a week long recap of the birthday party.  I would do this party again in a heart beat!

Sometimes I can't sleep at night because I can't stop thinking about all the little things I want to do for a party.  Does anyone else obsess about all the details of a party?
