A while back I made some headbands for a friend. The lacy headband in the last picture of that post was so simple and cute I wanted to share it with you. This headband can be made for anyone from baby to grandma. As long as you have a head to wear it on. No hair required either. It looks great on bald babies.
Supplies:
Stretch lace
Sewing machine
I ordered my stretch lace on Etsy. There are lots of different colors and widths to choose from.
1. Decide how long you need your headband to be, and add three to four inches.
2. Fold your length of lace in half with wrongs sides together.
3. Measure two inches in from your cut edge and sew. I stitched across three or four times.
Take your cut ends and tie in a knot. Now find a head that needs a little decorating. You did it!
This headband is a gift for a friend who is having her first baby in a couple of weeks. I hope she likes it.
