This was my second year at Alt, and my take away was not what I was expecting.
I had a really great time. Met fabulous people. Ate lots of yummy food, and got way too little sleep.
I really enjoyed connecting with so many great creative people. It's fun to put a real face with a blog name, or twitter handle.
A few things I learned:
Big pom poms make a statement whether they are on your bag, or in your hair. Wearing them in your hair is totally a lot of fun.
I like getting dressed up.
No one else in North Dakota blogs. (see photo of business cards below)
Tossing balloons in the air, continuously, is a pretty good work out. (also see photo below)
Blogging is my creative outlet and a source of personal growth.
My husband, and kids bring me more joy than anything else.
Alt Summit was a great motivator.
Most people probably left motivated to elevate their blogs and businesses, go for the big sponsorships, grow their readership, and make lots of money
I left more motivated to love my family, create awesome memories, and document our adventures along the way.
