We drove, roughly, thirty hours round trip. 1,816 miles.
Spent almost all of our waking hours with various family members.
Played in lots and lots of snow.

Went shopping, saw a movie, did a puzzle, played games, dined in yummy restaurants, and visited the dermatologist.
Two kids got food poisoning, on two different nights. The second kid ate the first kid's leftovers.
Mom and dad came down with colds.
And we got home on New Year's Eve with thirty minutes to spare before 2013.
The kids were back to school Wednesday, and I almost have all the clean laundry put away. Not bad if you ask me.
2013 Family Motto: BE STRONG
So tonight, at pizza night, I'm going to be strong and only eat half a pizza instead of a whole one.
