Friends, we had one great weekend in Billings. That was until yesterday at 4:30 AM when I woke up with kidney stone pains. I know, right?! Why again so soon?
So, I started chugging the water like it was my job. We were hesitant to leave Billings, and have me freak out with pain on the five hour drive, but decided to go home after all. The pain was minimal to manageable for the drive. More water was consumed late into the night, during the night, and early this morning.
I am happy to report, this little stone was passed shortly after 8:00 AM, at home, without any medications. Yes, this sounds like a baby delivery story, because it practically is.
In other news, pet fish can be tough to travel with. We thought we had one belly up when we arrived home. Then I did a little tank cleaning in an effort to revive them (not recommended). Apparently, warm to cold water is a bit of a shock for them. Both fish are alive and well thanks to Mike. He really saved the day.
