Welcome to February my friends. Can we really be into our second month of the year? Tess was so excited to tell me the date this morning. She included the word "slash" between the month, date and year.
At the end of 2012 I decided I wanted to do some sort of photo a day/week/month type challenge. Everything is more fun when I include the family, so I talked them into a family photo a week.
Each Sunday, before we head off to church, we stop for a quick snap shot. No one is posed, luckily everyone's face is pretty clean, and we say cheese.
These pictures are not perfect or professional, but that was the point. It's a fun way to document the kids physical changes, maybe style changes, and us as a family.
Last Sunday I was traveling back from Utah. We forgot about the picture until we were putting the kids in bed. So, we grabbed the kids, ran down stairs, and quickly took a snap shot. Pajamas, pull ups, messy hair and all.
Fun, right?!
Well, I'm happy it's Friday. We are going to a new restaurant tonight owned by some friends from church. It's maybe an hour and a half away-closer to the Canadian border. Davis is upset that we are skipping pizza night. I think I'll make it up to him, and have some sort of pizza-ish snack ready after he gets home from school.
Oh, and don't forget this Sunday is the Super Bowl. Visit my post on how to throw a Super Bowl party. I'm going to cheer for the 49ers because they were super popular when I was in elementary school. Fond memories.
